I just have a simple question that I hope will be able to be answered, I am making a gaming desktop pc and I was hoping someone would tell me if AMD or Intel is better. Please and Thank you

to be honest it is not as simple a question as you may think.

 

outright performance then intel is definitely the way to go.

 

if you want to get the best bang for the buck so to speak then amd might be the way to go. (was definitely amd for years but intel has recently brought out some cheap cpu's that make it a lot closer, even though i still believe overall cost when motherboards are including amd still wins out.)

 

of course the games being played and gpu choice makes a big difference too.
