Okay right before this happened we had problems w/ pop ups, like 60 at a time, my husband ran Ad Aware several times and turn on the norton updates. The pop ups stop and thats when we had the problem w/entering secure sites.

ok Norton internet security is probably set too high go to options in norton and set them low to see if you can get back on.

I just tried and it said Access Denied. Only the Supervisor can view/change the options. Huh?

ok , open up norton internet security.the main screen will say "block traffic" "live update" "options" then on the left you'll see norton internet options.click on that to open it.then on the right you'll see Settings for: Make sure it says "Supervisor" or you'll have the problem you have. Now you can change what ever you need to.

Okay, I did that not to sound stupid, but once I get that open what do I do? It's not like regular internet security where you put low. And now my Husband is telling me that he did not turn the norton updates on. The only thing he did was run Adware over and over again. Then the updates start by themselves. Arghh !!!!! I just want to do online banking again!!!

okay did that, found 23 things removed them, and still can't get on secured sites. Should I turn off Norton and see if that works?
