I have seen it take that long before so lets let it run, unless it's getting in your way of work then you can cancel it, otherwise lets go for 15 hours, still running after 15 hours we can cancel it then. Defrag should increase performance for you too.

Hello,

If there are no further issues. Yes we can remove all the programs that we downloaded, and log files from desktop. We can also clean up System restore points and create a new one. I'd wait for defrag to finish before running Delfix.

To remove programs an Log files that were created during fix.

Download DelFix by Xplode and save it to your desktop.
  • Run the tool by right click on the 51a5ce45263de-delfix.png icon and Run as administrator option.
  • Make sure that these ones are checked:
    • Remove disinfection tools
    • Purge system restore
    • Reset system settings
  • Push Run.
  • The program will run for a few seconds and display a notepad report.
    Paste it for my review.
Thanks
Joe :)

Very well done ! We will close the topic now, this topic is closed....

You usually get infected because your security settings are too low.

Here are a number of recommendations that will help tighten them, and which will contribute to making you a less likely victim:
