How can I prevent the time icon from obscuring the down scroll arrow?

Don't auto hide the Taskbar, then it will always be there and not be popping up. Go to the full post »

Unless I am <extremely> careful the bar of icons at the bottom of my Firefox screen pops up whenever I move the mouse cursor to the down scroll arrow. A minor annoyance that I have lived with forever, I expect there is a simple way to correct this. ????

FWIW I am using a desktop with XP.  Thanks. ... batpark
