To remove unneeded programs from my desktop pc with XP I go to CP and Add or Remove Programs and I get a list of my programs. On <some> of them I see the option to Remove the program (under the "Last Used" descriptor). But on other programs (such as support programs for a printer I have removed from my system) I do <not> get the Remove option!

Why so? How <can> I remove that program?

Under Tools > Uninstall, CCleaner Free has a "Delete" (the erroneous entry in Windows' Add/Remove Programs list).

In CCleaner, click on Tools on the left then make sure Uninstall is selected in the next column.

Select the program or entry you want and click Uninstall. If there is no Uninstaller then click Delete to remove from the list of installed programs.
