I would like to know what started it and how to fix it.

I looked online they said it was my cdrom: Asus BW-1281ST Sata,  "but it is working fine"   

i have tried to run microsoft fix it ( google the problem found that) that just messed up the cdrom were i had to delete it out of the registry and re put back in.
