Could you go to control panel > internet options
Select the advanced tab then click reset
Now retry IE and let me know how that is

Hi. IE now seems to be cured thanks. 

 

Still having intermittent problems with track pad, having to resort to using touch screen.

It's a toshiba satellite. Not able to check model number at the moment, will update tomorrow. It's a month old if that narrows it down?

OK here are two updated drivers tor the touchpad on your computer, one is elan and the other synaptics.. Both will work :)

Unzip the programme and install
