Sounds like the keyboard may have gotten wet. If it's a Desktop computer, temporarily try a different keyboard. If it also has the same issues, then the original keyboard is not the problem.... Go to the full post »

Hello
My keyboard is not working properly
When I press the space button while in ms word or notepad it opens the file menu, the space is not working .
And I found the function of space key and right alternate key merged together
And the F5 key merged with left alt key so the F5 is also not working
And the most irritating thing is when I press the backspace key it opens the calculator
Now I'm using On screen keyboard which is testing my patient
Please tell me that it is any other problem or I should buy an new keyboard
Thanks in advance

If it's a Desktop computer, temporarily try a different keyboard. If it also has the same issues, then the original keyboard is not the problem.

If it's a Laptop, new keyboards are usually $20-$50 and are often fairly easy to replace.
