Hello, Thanks in advance for the help. I followed all procedure to remove spyware using the automated programs and i still have a problem with aurora networks. Lets get started .Please print these directions out.

First, get rid of NewDotNet. Go to Control Panel:Add/Remove Programs and remove it. If it is not there, go here and follow Procedure 4: http://www.newdotnet.com/removal.html

Please download the trial version of Ewido Security Suite here:
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
Install it, and update the definitions to the newest files. Do NOT run a scan yet.

Please download Nailfix from here:
http://www.noidea.us...050515010747824
Unzip it to the desktop but please do NOT run it yet.

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:
1) Restart your computer
2) After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
3) Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
4) Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

Once in Safe Mode, please double-click on Nailfix.cmd. Your desktop and icons will disappear and reappear, and a window should open and close very quickly --- this is normal.

Then please run Ewido, and run a full scan. Save the logfile from the scan.

Next please run HijackThis, click Scan, and check:

Hello again, I followed all directions, and ran ewido overnight. When i woke up it said that the scan was 100% complete, but it also said that there was an unexpected error and had to shut down, so i was unable to save a logfile from ewido. Is it possible for me to delete a few other programs that i do not use, and had thought that I uninstalled completely? The lines in question are:

Most of these are from the StyleXP pack that i tried to remove over a year ago, but some functions are still present. I would like to rid myself of them.

Yes that is isearch and we're going after that next.Lets get the junk off your system and then I'll help you get all the other stuff .

Download and run iSearchFix.exe from http://www.atribune..../iSearchFix.exe and allow it to install to its default location.
Next boot to safe mode and open the iSearchFix folder and run isearch.bat
Allow it to finish running then reboot and post the isearchlog.txt and a new Hijack log

Hello again!
Thanks for all the help. the log is below. Regarding the optional programs, what i really don't want is processes from the stardock family. i.e. styleXP, cursorXP and logonstudio. I've tried removing these programs, and i thought they were gone, but i still see them present in the logs. Actually, logonstudio i could never get to fully uninstall, since my logon screen has been the same since i uninstalled the program. Is it safe to delete the lines that reference the stardock family? thanks!
