I have been trying to get to the msconfig utility to eliminate some programs that run on startup. When I go to run>msconfig>enter I get a windows explorer window with a file folder called backups that has nothing in it. On my other computer I get System configuration utility. Both computers running XP Professional.

I am trying to eliminate Internet Explorer trying to start when I boot up.
