OK next trick.. What we will do now is revert to IE10, see if the problem persists. If it does not then re-install IE11

Go to Control Panel > Programmes and Features
Select Installed updates
Locate and uninstall IE 11

so am i to delete the actual update or the IE11 program? there are so many updates, i am not sure which one is the actual IE11 update & microsoft does not help looking online

There should be an update called IE11 as per the screenshot. Uninstall that and you will revert to IE10 :)

OK next part first run the fix below and then download and install IE 11 from here https://www.microsof...-7-details.aspx

CAUTION : This fix is only valid for this specific machine, using it on another may break your computer

Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:
 

CreateRestorePoint:
CMD: netsh advfirewall reset
CMD: netsh advfirewall set allprofiles state ON
CMD: ipconfig /flushdns
CMD: netsh winsock reset catalog
CMD: netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
CMD: ipconfig /release
CMD: ipconfig /renew
CMD: netsh int ipv4 reset
CMD: netsh int ipv6 reset

CMD: bitsadmin /reset /allusers


Save this as fixlist.txt, in the same location as FRST.exe
FRSTfix.JPG
Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that

everything loaded successfully, IE 11 is still slow but not as bad as before. its almost like it is thinking too long

i timed it, almost 2 minutes for IE11 to open up the home page
