It must be because you have downloaded applications which contains hidden functions which causes pop ups. You should tap the “Menu” icon in the browser. Open the Settings menu, then click the “Advanced” tab. In the Advanced Settings screen is a “Block Pop-ups” section that enables the feature. IN google Chrome open the Settings menu, then select the “Show Advanced Settings” tab. Click the “Content Settings” option in the Privacy section of the Advanced Settings menu. Select the “Manage Exceptions” tab. Here, you can enter the IP addresses of the sites for which you want to block pop-ups. Hope you find it useful.

Her computers are fine nothing gets redirected. It is only her Ipad or smart phone that it does it to. I was wondering if there could be a virus in the router. She went to macdonalds to use their wifi and it did not redirect it there.
