not sure what happened, sound was going fine then just came to a halt, i went to windows support and had to check for midi and wave files, they not th how to i resurrect my sound?

If you have a software CD for the soundcard, reinstall it, if you have onboard sound, the drivers will be on the motherboard CD

If you have neither CD, and do not know the sound deatails, get Everest Home
