SO, I have a really old computer. made around 2010-2011. here's the link to it one newegg:

Recently I got internet as a graduation gift and the first thing on my mind is to play PC games. I don't have the funds to buy a brand new computer so i'm upgrading the one I have. A friend of mine has already looked inside and suggested I get a 750W psu and a Geforce GTX 960 graphics card.

My biggest concern is bottlenecking...should I go for a more up-to-snuff CPU or buy the the parts listed above??

you need to first specify what have you got. Otherwise it's quiet difficult for us to tell you.

:welcome: laserbeak.

Yes we do need a little more info.

If this is your computer?  > http://www.cnet.com/...o-cg5275-ar003/I can find the specs, except details for the PSU.

It appears to be a 400W.   Please tell us the brand and model.

What is your max budget?

Does the Asus Logo on the front of the case still light up?

Gday laserbeak.

You have not answered our questions.   Do you still require some help, or have you decided your upgrade path?   An update would be appreciated.

Thanks.
