Got this LCD for free, have never even heard of Kreisen, would just appreciate an opinion before I junk it.

Originally: screen turned on, was able to scroll trough the inputs, bright blue screen on TV input- nothing out of the ordinary.

Get it home: powers up, turns on, flashes the blue TV input for a second (no horizontal lines, strobing, etc), then powers off completely; green light on power supply also flickers off.  Repeats this process continuously until I manage to manually turn it off.  In this case, green light on power supply stays lit and red "off" light on the screen does as well. Also worth noting, power supply seems a bit touchy and sometimes doesn't seem to be active (noticed when trying different outlets).  Maybe a fluke that it stayed on for the first try and ac adapter just needs to be replaced?  Screen is not attached to anything other than the power supply.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

sounds like a dodgy power supply, if you can find one that has the same specs and plugs in to the monitor it would be the first thing I'd test
