I have connected external harddrive which i assume to be WDC WD25 00JB-00READ USB Device which is located on E drive on Windows XP with resulting problems.

I received messages as follows:

NMIndexStore.Svr.exe

ModVer 2.013.0 Offset:001497

App. Ver 2.0.13.0

ModName: nmdate services.dll

When this happens I get dialogue box which indicates that the application needs to close and data may be lost.

NMIndexStoreSvr.exe is part of Nero Burning Rom. DO you use it? If not, uninstall it and see if that fixes the problem.

If you do use it, uninstall and reinstall.
