Disk 1 and Disk 3 show the same drive letter (X:) and name My Disk.

 

Something weird there. Looks like they are setup in some kind of RAID array.

 

Also, you show a B: drive which is unusual as well. B: has always been associated with a 2nd floppy drive/Hard drives typically are assigned C: through Z:, not A: or B:.

Disk 1 and Disk 3 are setup in RAID 0 via Windows (soft raid).

 

B is just the drive letter I chose for my Backup drive.

I wonder if RAID has something to do with the problem? Seems unlikely but I can't come up with any other ideas at the moment.

For chrome Read this--> Chrome still uses ungodly amount or memory and cause 'Out of Memory' warnings

I switched from a hardware RAID (using my motherboard's RAID controller) to a software RAID at least a year or 2 ago. I did this so I could enable and use Samsung RAPID. I havent had a problem until a couple of months ago. But then again who knows. Only thing I can think of that changed was I am using Bitdefender for my AV as opposed to my typical ESET. Might have to switch back and see if that fixes it.

Interesting read but that seems to be talking about out of memory warnings from Windows. I don't get those, I get tabs in chrome that wont load because they are out of memory.

Update: Been browsing the Chrome subreddit and it seems to be a very common issue as of late. Someone posted a fix and it seems to be working so far!
