My father's Windows XP Laptop won't connect to our wifi connection, my Windows 7 laptop works just fine with it. He is using a Dell Lattitude D630. Any idea what might be wrong?

When did this start? Was it working before?

What's changed? Was any hardware or software added or removed?

Lightening/storms in the area when this happened?

You could try opening Device Manager, expand Network Adapters then right click on the wireless NIC and select Uninstall. Reboot once it's done. Windows will re-detect the wireless NIC and reload the drivers.

See if that helps.
