At the chess club I'm working at we're using a computer for training purposes.
I learned a few days ago that there have been frequent BSODs on that computer. People think I know a lot about computers, so they asked me to check things out, but I really don't. I just know how to google most of the common stuff.

I don't know how to approach something like this though.

I attached the last 10 dump files from that computer in a zip file.

If anyone can help me, it's much appreciated.

The dumps indicate a number of different possible causes:

Dropbox.exe (5 dumps pointed to this)
wmpnetwk.exe
The process wmpnetwk.exe is a non-threatening service created by Microsoft to enable media sharing in Windows Media Player or Media Center. If you do not use Windows Media Sharing you should disable this service since it runs 24/7 and uses a decent amount of system resources.Jan 1, 2011

Several netio.sys and svchost.exe but they are system files so the cause is something else not easily identifiable in the dump.

I'd say 1st uninstall Dropbox, reboot and then reinstall it.

Also disable Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service.

Click Start then Run, type msconfig and press Enter.

Click the Services tab.

Scroll down to Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service and uncheck the box.

Click Apply the OK.

Restart

Thank you for the response. I'll be back at that computer friday so I'll give that a shot first and see how it goes.
