Hello,

Recently i purchased a motherboard and case an put it together but it turns out the standard 5.25" DVD drives are to long an hit the motherboard they are about 6.8" long an it looks like i need about a 6" long or less drive I would like to get a Blu-ray/DvD Burner or just a DvD Burner Drive but all i have looked at say they are 6.8" long. Few years ago we purchased a DVD Drive was was shorter then the normal ones but it stopped working an we no longer have it so I was wonderign if anyone knew of a model or maker that i could look for that would meet the requirements,  thank you

Gday.

You might research for something like this,  > http://www.sony-opti...im/ad7800h.html

Then use a converter like this, > http://www.newegg.co...N82E16817986012

or > http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3a93dfc94e

Thanks for the update.

Possible solutions, but there are no dimensions for the slots.
