Yahoo email problem

My Yahoo email account (on a Desktop pc with XP) works OK except for this: it takes as much as 1 minute after I click the Compose button before the compose screen appears. I have been unable to get any help from Yahoo, would appreciate any suggestions from GtGers. Thanks. ...batpark
