My mentor thinks it has to do with AutoCAD. Can you uninstall all of the following, please?

Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable (x64)
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - x64 9.0.21022
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - x64 9.0.30729.17
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - x86 9.0.21022
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - x86 9.0.30729.17
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010  x64 Redistributable - 10.0.40219
Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x64) - 11.0.61030

Proceed to download and re-install the following:

Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable (x64)
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable (x64)
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable (x64)
Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Update 4 Redistributable (x86 and x64)

You should do so one after the other, as these have the same file names and that might lead to installers being overwritten. Let me know if the error still persists.

When you mentioned Autocad, I was messing around with that program when I started having issue. I had to go thru a few step to delete the files I downloaded (unlocking them) and poof... No more Error... :-) Thank you so very much for your help... One last question, to protect my computer from Viruses, Malware etc.... What programs do you recommend?

That's great to hear! :) As for your query, since the main contact points of malware are usually the Internet and flash drives, an anti-virus and useful add-ons (which I mentioned; 'ScriptSafe' is also great) are enough. Having too many security programs bogs down the system considerably... it's not a case of the more the merrier. :lol:
