Sorry to hear you still have a problem.

As noted early in the thread,

The new CPU is on the support list.

You have flashed the BIOS to the latest ver and cleared the CMOS, setting the board to defaults.

You have applied new TIM and insured cables are correctly seated.

Possible causes, the MB has developed a problem.   Reinstall the old CPU, apply new TIM, test.  If the system still Boots OK,

The new CPU could be faulty, before you bought it, heat damage has occurred, or a CPU pin is bent or missing.  

Inspect the CPU for any burn marks and bent pins.   If it looks OK, can you get your friend to test it in their rig.

 

Other potability is that the PSU is not delivering the correct amount of volts on one of the rails.   I doubt that the extra 30 Watts required by the new CPU would make that much difference, 

Please give the brand/model of the PSU.

Did you do the following, for reply #16?

The above steps should be carried out so we can eliminate the faults there, then the PSU may be the cause.   It is not the best unit in the world and with age, may no longer be outputting enough current.

I did test the new cpu at a friends home and it worked there. My pc works fine with the old one installed. There seems nothing wrong with the New cpu and thanks for the tip.

Thanks for the update.

Looks like the PSU is not delivering enough power.   if you can borrow a known working one, 500W, test it in your system wth the new CPU installed.

Lets see if we can get some readings for it and post some screenshots.

I live in the Netherlands. And thanks i will try to look for a new psu to test first before i decide to buy one if needed,
