Hey guys,

Just bought my first gaming Pc for flightsimming and I'm concerned about bottleneck caused by the CPU. It has an AMD A-4 7300 3.8 ghz, 8gb RAM 1600mhz DDR3, and then a Radeon 6950 2gb. I know the CPU (I am aware its a APU but assuming the upgraded GPU cancels out the integrated graphics) is the weak link and was just wondering what to upgrade it too so I don't get bottleneck. What else should I be concerned about in order to make everything equal to my GPU.

Thank you!!!!

Thank yo00 Dual-Core 3.80 GHz -7300 Du

curious but what makes you think your cpu is bottlenecking your graphics card? or in your words not equal to your graphics card?

far as i remember flight sims are multi thread games and very cpu intensive so upgrading your cpu to a quad core should be of benefit to you performance wise there just because of the extra cores but i don't think your cpu is bottlenecking your graphics card where the games rely more on the gpu than the cpu, in fact you may be better off upgrading the gpu in some of those cases.
