I want to add the account passwords of MICROSOFT OUTLOOK (passwords that are stored somewhere on your computer when setting up access to the mailbox through POP3 or IMAP) in the section "personal data protection" KIS 2010. Because there is a ready data protection settings for Outlook Express, the Bat, Thunderbird, but for MS Outlook 2003/2007 isn't present.

Prompt, please, the default installation directory (file, maybe the registry key), where MS Outlook 2007 stores your account password to access the mailboxes. Or how can I view this password in Outlook? Maybe there's some program for this?

As far as I know in the directory C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst is only stored emails Outlook 2007. But where the password is stored and how can I see it?

Thank you!

Assuming the password is still stored on the computer you can recover it with a password tool like PassView

If the password is no longer stored then you will have to recover or reset it via the options from your email provider/host.

Here they are stored. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Account Manager\Accounts

But if your Outlook version later 2000, that is probability of that you don't find the data there. Apparently changed in the new Microsoft Office method of storing information about the accounts.  Then you will help Recovery Toolbox for Outlook Password. With its help you will be able to view your password.
