need help guys, my desktop not loading the wallpapers, shortcuts, only blue screen & a pop up appears 'program error sinstaller.exe aborted something. guys what do u think is the problem? thanks for the help guys.

Hello and welcome to Geeks to Go! :tazz: I'm kool808 .

In the future please DO NOT post your HJT Logs in this forum unless told so.Even the best antispyware programs are only able to remove about 70% of infections. Also, the line between spyware and trojans is getting blurred. You can never be too careful with these, I recommend at least one online scan.

Now, REBOOT in Normal Mode and have an On-line scan at this sites: Trend Micro or Panda Scan or BitDefender.

AVERT Stinger, for Windows ME/XP please read this first.

REBOOT again.

Try to check this: Start > Run > Regedit

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies
