Greetings all, I need a little help

Last Month (too busy with work) we had a thunderstorm and lost power. System has a surge protector. I am certain there wasn't a power spike because the other 4 computers are working.

Computer is HP Pavilion Elite m9340f running W7 64.

Startup repair could not repair, here is the info:

Problem Event Name: Startup Repair Offline
Problem Signature 01: 6.1.7600.16385
Problem Signature 02: 6.1.7600.16385
Problem Signature 03: unknown
Problem Signature 04: 21199703
Problem Signature 05: AutoFailover
Problem Signature 06: 9
Problem Signature 07: No Root Cause

OS Ver. 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
Local ID 1033

Next, I ran chkdsk /r It found no problems.

Next, a System Restore, completed successfully.

Restarted, it acts normal for a couple of seconds then BSOD:

It says remove any new hard drive or controller, run chkdsk (I have already run chkdsk and there are no errors). Or it says it could be a virus.

No new hard disk and I know there is no virus as the computer has all the necessary anti-virus software.

Here is the info:

STOP: 0x0000007B (0xFFFFF880009A9928,0xFFFFFFFFC0000034,0X0000000000000000,0X0000000000000000)

Next, I ran bootrec.exe /fixmbr, bootrec.exe /fixboot, bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd and bootrec.exe /scanos from the command prompt. The last coming back with Total identified Windows installations: 0. Not sure if I actually ran it on the C: drive as the prompt was x:\windows\system32> .

Next, I read on another thread about using Farbar Recovery Scan Tool, ran that, the log is attached.

Thanks in advance for any and all assistance:

Kevin

Thanks Lee:

Went there, completed steps 1 - 5.  There is no step 6 listed, 7 & 8 are not necessary as the system has all the necessary anti (Norton, malwarebytes, etc), so I did step 9, Partition Wizard, screen shots attached.

Thanks again

Try using this command at an elevated command proint sfc /scannow also having all the antivirus programs doesn't guarantee a clean system. I see in the screenshot you have adwcleaner, this shouldn't be used if you haven't had the training or guidance from a trained user

Thanks once more Lee:

I have attempted to run sfc /scannow several times.  In order to get to the command prompt I must use the Windows DVD, I get to the command prompt via the repair option.  After getting to the c: prompt I typed sfc /scannow, it starts to run then returns: There is a system repair pending which requires reboot to complete.  Restart Windows and run sfc again.

I rebooted, not using the DVD, BSOD.  So I figured ok, use DVD.  Got to the command prompt, ran sfc /scannow and received the same message; There is a system repair pending which requires reboot to complete.  Restart Windows and run sfc again.  Rebooted via DVD and ran sfc /scannow then received the same message again, There is a system repair pending which requires reboot to complete.  Restart Windows and run sfc again.

Seems I am in a loop and sfc /scannow is unable to run, what now?

Greetings again:

Not sure what this is:  Maybe try telecharger a nwe systerm....

Lee, I attempted the F8, "Repair Your Computer" is not an option, it appears no where on the page........

All other options result in BSOD

Thanks again:

Also check the cable to the hardrive from your motherboard to see if it's loose if not flip it

Lee:

Since the thunderstorm I have not been able to get to the desktop at all, BSOD happens just after it says Starting Windows (the 4 colored dots appear that turn into the logo then BSOD).

I have a similar problem with a XP SP3+ system, 0X0000007B error on boot, all modes.

I replaced everything replaceable (HDD, Video card, ram, modem) and it doesn't make any difference.

I can boot a CD and get to the Command Prompt.

I ran chkdsk /r which found and corrected some errors so I ran it again and it was clean.

The  only thing I haven't replace is the Sata cable to the HDD and the power supply. If that doesn't help then it's a motherboard problem. Not sure if I have a replacement or not.

I'll try both tomorrow and report back here.
