Hard to say.  Windows Defender can stay unchecked since you have Avast.  The Lenovo stuff is questionable since I have no idea what it does.  The RIM stuff is for a Blackberry.  Does anyone still have a Blackberry?

 

Actually the Intel Management Engine is not something you really need.  It's used by large companies to remotely control the PC in their network.

She actually does still have a blackberry. She doesn't sync it that often but does occasionally to back things up.  I feel this likely doesn't need to be enabled as we could just run the programs from the start menu whenever she needs to sync.

I've been reintroducing things slowly but not with any rush. Is there anything else I should be doing?
