This might be a dumb question, but is there anyway to make a ThinkPad T420 louder.

The speakers work OK, and the system volume is up to it's maximum.

I am not sure if it has BlueTooth in order to use an external BlueTooth speaker.

Thanks ....

Hi,

Do you have the Conexant Audio driver installed?

To confirm if the machine have BlueTooth check the Device Manager

Thanks SleepyDude

I Googled Conexant Audio Driver and found the driver for Win 7 / 64 bit

I downloaded that and it would not install.

I get an error message: DRIVER INSTALLATION FAILED. COULD NOT LOCATE THE DEVICE FOR THIS DRIVER

Apparently I do not have Bluetooth on this machine, which is somehwhat surprising.

When possible download the drivers from the manufacture website http://support.lenov...s/thinkpad-t420

There are plenty of bad websites that will make you install allot of junk (sometimes also malware) before supposedly download and install the drivers.
