Hey guys, I'm new to of pic gaming and want to be a part of it, but want to be sure this system is future proof for future games and so on. I would like to know if I need to change or invest more into this system before I build it?

The idea behind the build is ok but a couple of pointers for you (not criticisms btw) let us know your maximum budget and we can suggest an alternative list of parts for you to look over.

 

An SSD for the OS and your favourite game/s would compliment the build, faster boot up times and access to your games.

 

If the computer is to be a gaming only rig there is no need for an i7 CPU, it would be a waste of the processors capability and more than £100 of your cash, the additional speed gain of the i7 is simply not worth so much extra financial outlay.

 

The 8GB AMD RADEON R9 390X video card is very good but a GTX 980 would be better, some benchmarks here
