I am looking for a Media Player to sync with 3 platforms, Windows XP, IOS 9 and Ubuntu 14.04. I have used IOS since its first conception on the IPad, but getting disillusioned with its inability to transfer documents easily, without an app, (a must), and the whole iTunes system seems top heavy but restrictive in its user experience.  I have looked at VLC, Media Monkey, Tomahawk, but do not find these approprate for my needs. All help and advice,very  welcome.

Just checked the UmPlayer it out. Windows and Linux ok, but onlyApple Mac not IOS9
