I love my facebook games (terrible I know!) and not all the ones I like have google play apps. I am looking for the best solution to play and update facebook games on the go while staying with family or camping. The second big need is to play movies and the third is google play style apps.

My phone constantly runs out of memory for the apps I do install so good memory size is important.

Can I get this from a tablet or would a cross be better like the surface pro? I have done my head in with the various options and would appreciate help!

if you're wanting to use google play apps, you have to have a google OS on the device.

 

a tablet or maybe a chromebook would be an option. however, I don't know that it would solve the FB games thing. a lot of the FB games that you play in your browser are flash based, and, well, android doesn't do flash, fairly certain chromeOS (chromebooks) doesn't either.

 

so, a windows tablet or laptop or convertible (surface is great. but expensive in the sector....lots of other windows based tablet type things other than the surface that are cheaper) might solve that problem...but....then you can't use android apps.

 

so.....there's an answer that doesn't answer much. you kind of have to decide what you really want to do with a device before you get one. there's no one device that's going to do everything.
