Searching for a file containing word "abc"

In XP the Search function allowed one to search for a file by its name or by a word (say "abc") within that file. How do I get to the equivalent function in W8.1? Thank you.  ..... batpark

the default search functionality in windows since windows 7 has been to do in document and file name searches like you're describing.

 

search can only do the in document searching for files that are in indexed locations
