Good afternoon. I'm not sure if my issue involves software, hardware, or both, but I'm putting this in the SOFTWARE category because I think that's probably the problem. Feel free to move the topic if we discover that I'm wrong.

I'm experiencing terrible audio/video issues with streaming media (usually YouTube). If I reboot my computer, everything works fine for about 24 hours, but gets worse each day that I go without rebooting. Here's what it looks/sounds like after about 3 days without rebooting:

The problem is not limited to Firefox (my primary browser), but it does seem to be the worst in Firefox (though that may just be coincidental). Does anyone have any ideas/advice on what the issue might be? Thank you very much for any help!

if a reboot fixes things then my best guess would be there is something running in the background that either has a memory leak and uses up all your ram over time or your hard drive is getting full and slowing down because something is writing a lot of temp files to it, in both those cases a reboot clears the ram and temp files therefore the problem goes away and that's why it then works fine again for a while.

see if anything in this link helps you narrow down what is the cause of your problem :- https://www.winhelp....in-windows.html
