So far I see 104 registry errors, 108 privacy issues, 27.5mg in junk files and 1 performance issue but these could easily all be benign to the current issue. Please open a command prompt and run the netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt command

To do that

• To open a command prompt, click Start and then type cmd in the Search programs and files box.
• Under Programs, right-click the CMD.exe icon, and then click Run as administrator.
• When the User Account Control box appears, click Yes.
• At the command prompt, enter the following command, and then press Enter:

You're not going to believe this, but I fixed it (or should I say WE fixed it)! My husband kept saying he did a system restore but it wouldn't work cuz he kept getting an error message that his firewall was blocking it. I disabled all the firewalls and told him to try again. He said twice more it would not work. I just hit F8 on restart and did a system restore there. I restored it to a few days ago. I'm on the internet. I tried google, yahoo, my college website, and a few more. No problems. I ran another malware just to be safe, then turned the firewall back on and tried it all again. It's all back to normal. I don't know why I didn't check with him before as to how he was performing the restore. I've seen this happen before (although only once), where the system restore won't work normally but will from the F8 screen. Thanks a million for all your help. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it!
