New system can't enter UEFI bios

I have a friend who set up a computer with all new hardware, it is AMD based. When the system is turned on the computer does not go past the hit delete to enter bios however it does not accept input from the keyboard and she has tried multiple usb ports and two different keyboards.

try using a ps2 keyboard, it may well be you first need to change a setting in the bios before a usb keyboard can be used.

 

ps2 keyboards have a purple rounded connection type as shown in some of the images here :- https://www.google.c...iw=1189&bih=808
