Yes that would have made sense before I reinstalled windows 10 as that usb accelerator is not longer installed now. 0.o

Also how do I get Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and i think there was another one back on my computer? I had them all before.

Should I update the OSD and to any of the BIOS here?: http://www.asus.com/...pDesk_Download/

For the "My laptop still cannot even see my routers wireless WPA2-Personal 5GHZ connection and the Ethernet is still not functioning normally."

What should I do for that and the Ethernet thing? Is it something tech fixable or do you think it's purely hardware related? Should I send it in to Asus to fix? It's still on a year warrenty. The ethernet trouble didn't start however until that crazy pop up event though.

Should I perhaps bother with downloading a new windows 10 and installing again or do you feel that would be pointless?

What version of windows did you have before windows 10, as there may be some hardware on your system that 10 cannot handle

Also how do I get Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and i think there was another one back on my computer? I had them all before.

If you have the licence key you can re-download them .. Otherwise there is a free alternative that is just as good

Um I think the regular Windows 10, it wasn't a fancy one just the one that auto installed from upgrading from windows 8. And i cannot get any license keys, they were preinstalled when I bought the laptop, calling Microsoft, Asus and the Company I bought it from did no good. -_- So I am resorting to torrents and Microsoft toolkit since I did originally have them.

What were your thoughts on my other earlier questions? About the BIOS on that link, should I install one of them? And if so which one? Should I do the OSD file one too?

And my computer as it has been, is still slow on startup.

I always consider a BIOS flash as the very last resort as it can be a fraught experience

Do you have a Microsoft licence sticker on the bottom of the notebook, as with that you can download windows 8.1

Although as it is still in warranty it should run windows 10

It may be worth returning it on the warranty as the Ethernet problem is probably hardware related

I've now had this happen twice for no reason since both times I was just reading a page. It forced my computer to restart and said it was due to error "Kernel Security Check Failure" 0.o

Looking at that error it will probably be best to return it under warranty as it could either be RAM or the motherboard

Ok I shall do. What else should I include for them to take a long at aside from Ethernet connection and the error possibly relating to ram or motherboard? If they have to replace any of the said pieces, does that affect my personal data and installed files in any way?

They will probably replace any parts and then re-install windows so I would recommend that you back up all your personal data first

Although the link relates to XP it can be used on windows 10 http://www.geekstogo...all-of-windows/

Can they just NOT reinstall windows and just replace the parts do you think? Or will they do it anyway even with me not wanting that done?

It takes days to install all my programs. Plus I don't want factory version back on here, some programs I could not get rid of that I wanted gone either. Am I able to make a full copy of what I have here with the installed programs , windows 10 etc and then put it back on when I get my laptop back again? Is there a way?

You could ask them not to re-install windows but refresh it and that would keep them majority of your programmes and data...
