Verifier reset & new Speccy generated - http://speccy.pirifo...bzDYexhpzhkmiak

I see what you mean about the crashes mentioned on the Windows forums.  The only thing I would say is that I was getting BSOD with Windows 8.1.  Possibly not as regularly but it was still happening.

Apologies for the delay getting back to you  :(

Couple of things of note in Speccy;

Hibernation has re enabled, not uncommon when done from power management, after first creating a new restore point disable it using command prompt please;

Press the Windows + X keys to open Power menu and select Command Prompt (Admin) type in powercfg/h off and then press enter.

The following updates are still scheduled, ones you mention wanting to keep have been omitted, ones in red should be gotten rid of altogether as should the one that I have included an external link for, you are connecting to the internet by way of an Intel wireless device and so definitely can do without a Realtek LAN Optimizer (if there is such a thing) starting up as soon as you try and access the internet.

You have multiple failed updates for both Windows and MS Office, we will come back to these and if need be testing the Ram once you have done the above, don't want to inundate you with things to do.

You must have the patience of a saint :)

Created a restore point.

Deactivated hibernation using command prompt admin.

Deleted the entries in red & disabled those in blue using task scheduler (I was using Task Manager / startup tab before which is where I went wrong)

I did have some issues with Office + Win10 updates on Sunday but they seemed to work the second (or third) time around & I believe I am now up to date

Screenshot from task scheduler, hibernation cmd & windows updater attached + new speccy at http://speccy.pirifo...0S2S0ruRrEVqorj

Thanks again,

Most of the time  :lol:

Settings all look good now so all we can do now is wait and see how things go (Speccy still detects the scheduled Adobe and RtlLanOptimizerVistaStart entries though).

You are welcome btw  :)

Almost one week in since the last set of changes & no re-occurrence of the problem yet.  While I'm not celebrating just yet I am hopefully that it has been fixed.  If that is the case I cannot thank you enough.  It wasn't the biggest problem in the world but things like that annoy me to he11.  Thank you so much.

Thanks for the update Praenei  :thumbsup:

Nothing wrong with not being happy when things are not working as they should, I'm the same myself.

If ok with you we will give it a couple more days and if we dont hear back from you we can mark the thread as solved.

You are welcome btw  :)
