Laptop. W7. Word 2010

Sometimes, while I am happily typing away, I realize that the cursor is suddenly sitting 2 or 3 lines above. Then I have to go all the way up and edit. So frustrating!! when in a hurry.

Also, it seems that, when I type a short word ending on l and starting with e, something changes when I touch the spacer and the l and e becomes part of the short word eg. " sal ek" becomes "sale k". BTW: These are not English words.

To me it looks as if the space bar has something to do with it all - just a guess, though.

I have done the Farbar Recovery Scan - what now?

Will appreciate any help. Thanks so much in advance.
