Good that the HDD is detected in the BIOS and most likely means that you may only need to allocate the drive a letter such as (K:) for example, this because you wiped the drive so Windows has no way of recognizing it, if you have Windows 10 still;

 

Right click on the Windows icon to the left on the task bar.

Select Disk Management.

If the HDD is showing there, right click on it then select "Change letter and network paths"

A small window should appear, select Change.

Allocate the drive a letter, click OK and you should be sorted.

This helped, although mine showed the disk at the bottom. 2 disks, disk 0 and 1. Disk 0 was my 1TB drive. I had to right click it and click something about making it a "New Volume." I didn't see anything as you posted but you did get me in the right direction and I thank you once again for your help!
