outlook 2010 error - The file is corrupt and cannot be opened

Hi experts

Im getting the error - "The file is corrupt and cannot be opened", when opening office attachments in outlook 2010.

I’ve tried disabling the protected view options in office which hasn’t fixed the issue, the only suggestion I have seen which I’m sure would work is to delete the user profile and recreate. This seems a bit over kill to me, does anyone know what files I need to remove to fix the issue.

Hi, and welcome to Geeks to Go. Can you save the attached file and then open it directly from the associated Office program, or is it still corrupt that way?
