Hello all and thanks for viewing the post!

I recently did a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate on my computer, but after the install, many drivers were missing (including ethernet and USB). I have the necessary drivers on a USB stick but obviously I can't use a USB without the USB drivers. I don't have a CD/DVD drive installed, so I can't burn the drivers to the CD and install. I can't send via bluetooth because no bluetooth. And of course I can't connect to the internet because no ethernet drivers. So, what options do I have left??

It's really frustrating because a dropped 1K on a new gaming rig and can't even play anything -_- For those wondering why I did a fresh install-- the original OS was in Chinese, as I am in Beijing currently.

Thanks in advance for any and all help!

Your flash drive should work on the rear USB ports of the case.

The BIOS has code to communicate with a limited subset of devices required to boot the system (storage controllers, Ethernet, USB keyboard/mouse, USB mass storage).

If you have a MB with UEFI, it  provides a modern C-based API.   It will have Ethernet for flashing the firmware, and if lucky, an Easy Driver Install.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried several USB drives in all of the ports but to no avail. Of course, the USBs are recognized in BIOS but not outside. I checked through all BIOS settings and found nothing helpful.

This will only work if the USB stick is bootable.

You will need to find which F key will bring up the Boot Manager when you start the computer, on my Asrock MB, it is F11.

With the computer off,

Plug in the USB stick on a top back port.

Power on and hold down the F key.

If seen, select the USB stick and restart the computer.

The USB stick I have with the drivers isn't bootable because it's just drivers, not an OS. I have read about being able to create a USB with self-installing drivers but can't find out how to do it. I can get to my boot manager within the BIO but I cannot boot from this USB, only my Windows .ISO USB.

The windows installer contains all the basic drivers to be able to boot into the system, so the required drivers should have been installed.   Perhaps the installation is corrupted or the ISO, or burn.

Where did you download the ISO from?   Please give a link.

Does the computer Boot to the Desktop?

Been a while since we heard from you.   Do you need further help or have you solved the issue?   An update would be appreciated.

Thanks.
