Hello everyone, new member here, just joined today. Basically, I am trying to find out, is it too difficult to write an ebook reading software. I do know basic programming in Visual Basic 2008, and, Visual C# 2008. But, I can not find any book or any information on the internet how to write an ebook reading program. I just need to write a simple program that can read PDF files. I have tried some free ebook reading programs like Foxit reader, and, I have tried few others, but, some of the features that I need are missing from all those softwares. I will appreciate any help with that. Thanks

You can create an eBook reading computer program by using a programming language that you are familiar with to open an EPUB and/or PDF file and then format it to be displayed on an Ebook reader screen.

If you are not familiar with any whatsoever, learning how to become fluent in most computer programming languages is not an easy task. It often can take years of study and practice to get really good at it.
