i can not on on internet, i have a Dell Precision 340 computer w/a rev A01 board, and it appears i lost the driver and now i can not find one.

 

anyone know where to get a driver which i believe may be a chip set driver.   please help.

I had to read this a couple times. You are on the internet with your Acer computer BUT not your Asus.

It sounds like the Asus does not have its wireless adapter installed properly.

You didn't say what OS so I assume win 7. Right click on computer and choose manage. Click on manage and choose device manager.

Are there any warnings in Device manager? Which ones?

I install a new windows 7 ultimate but i cannot find the drivers for the Ethernet or the wifi

I download the driver from the Toshiba webpage, 10 updates and  from device manager i tri to install the 10 new drivers

 but it says that theres no driver found in the folder

and the wifi don't even show in the device manager

it only shows ! Ethernet Controller

                      ! Network Controller

                      ! PCI Simple Communications Controller

those are the ones missing

I try to uninstall the Ethernet Controller and restart the laptop

so that windows install the driver but no luck
