I have the dynamer!ac Trojan on my D:\preload for Polar Golfer and haven't really been able to find anything to easily apply to my machine or a mass audience for that matter.
I first found this: https://malwaretips....mer-ac-removal/
I did all the steps just to make sure, but I knew it wasn't going to work when the 1st step didn't even find dynamer!ac.
Secondly I found the thread on this site started by kriskringleali
but all I have been able to determine (per page 2 of the above's thread) is that I'd need to submit my own request on a new thread post because the solution they found is specific to the person's machine. Since this doesn't seem a viable solution for all the computers that have this problem I kept looking, when I found a post on HP’s Forum suggesting to uninstall Wild Tagent games that come with HP computers. Unfortunately, I uninstalled WildTagent games on my computer upon getting my computer (Windows 7 originally) and I think it was fine until I did the upgrade to 10. I have since returned to 7 and the WildTagent games don't show up in my Programs listing to uninstall, but I still have dynamer!ac show up on my MSE scans with the message of the file being too big to quarantine/remove. It gives the path of D:\preload, but even though I have hidden folders visible, I don't see this path.
At this point I think I’ll have to resort to reimaging the computer back to the factory settings, but I at least wanted to try this post as my last shot. If you think it’s too much of a hassle to attempt a one-by-one answer to this problem or find a mass solution, just let me know and I’ll go ahead with the reimage.
Thanks
