Hello everyone.

I have had my laptop for a couple of years and run Windows 10. I have installed the Windows 10  update in the last week. I run AVG anti virus. I have done a full scan and run Malwarebytes and neither report a problem.

For the last couple of days a new screen has appeared in the early stages of my computer start up which tells me that "Watch Dog" is starting. I am aware of a Watchdog in AVG but I think that it is spelt differently. I am also aware of an old key logger called "watch dog". As I said neither AVG nor Malwarebytes report a problem but I am not so sure.

I attach a photo of my screen during startup.

See if there is an up date to AVG. I have seen other reports about this screen at boot on Windows 10 and is most likely related to AVG.

Thank you for the AVG suggestion. I am delighted to report that reinstalling AVG has removed the screen that I posted and also made the startup a lot quicker! I guess that my AVG (which is set to update daily automatically) did not like the update to Windows 10.1 which happened at about the same time as the screen started appearing.

Thank you again.
