i have a mustek dv3500 have had no problem in the past now when i plug it in
it saysthere are no compatable pictures to download then i get a icon on my task bar that says safel y remove hardware . which is listed as my usb mass storage any help is appreciated i have xp

Not sure on the no compatable pictures trbl but I just installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 and now I am getting the same icon on my task bar.

Sorry I have no Answer but poss. s/w caused?

My Photoshop install went very bad had to uninstall sp2 on my xp-pro & then it crashed. "Blue screen" had to recover etc.. still working on that but have 13+ hr days at work now.

Your computer recognizes that USB port as belonging to the storage device. try using another USB connection, or assign it another port. Or it may not have enough interupt request lines to go around and you have to remove one device (in the Device Manager) before it can recognize another one. :tazz:
