Sir, i have an old version wide ribbon cable computer. And suddenly it don not boot then i go to an technician and he told that its internal hard drive media has damage but the most serious thing is that i have no bqckup of my old internal harddrive so please help me what i do...???

Do you have personal data on the HDD that you would like to try and back up.

Did the tech mean that Windows is corrupted, if yes, what version of Windows are you running, XP, 7, 8/8.1 or Windows 10, if no, was he saying that the HDD or the data ribbon is bad.

 

We need some information about your computer, is it a notebook or desktop, is it a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP, if it is provide the model name or series number (not serial) if a custom build, does it have a DVD/CD drive, this in case it is unable to boot from a USB device such as a thumb drive.
