from one day to the next my ideapad could not connect to the internet any longer.

Also, the brightness went way down!

So when I start it (WIndows 7) the moment I enter my password, the brightness goes

way down.

Then 2 boxes open up. One talks about a specific module could not be found

(HP officejet 4620......)

And 'Debug Assertion failed!"

Also on the toolbar it says that  "Intel RST service is not running".

The toolbar does not even have the internet/online symbol. It is as if I never

had that possibility.

When I click on the Mozilla icon, a browser window opens, but I can't surf

the internet. The message is "Server not found".

I would be ever so glad if somebody could help me get this thing going again!

Many thanks, Beth

can you please close this thread?

I went back to an earlier restore point on my Ideapad and removed some software and now it

works fine again.

Best, Beth
