Hi,

my Ideapad from Lenovo had suddenly a rather dark screen and I could not get online any longer.

I fixed that by going to an earlier restor point.

However, after that experience I uninstalled a lot of programs using Revo Uninstaller.

However, I still have some things left, like when I start my computer a little window opens

and informs me that there was a problem starting HP Office jet. A program I deleted long ago.

And even though I uninstalled AVG and other things with Revo Uninstaller, their icons are

still on my desktop.

Thus my question, is there a tool or what is the best way to get rid of those little left-overs?

many thanks, Beth

Hello,

For the AVG issue I would run the AVG removal tool for your product located Here. Scroll down a bit on the web page to see the removal tool links.

Thanks
Joe :)

Hello Team,

Greetings. I am trying to install new mcaffee anti virus but mcaffee installer failed to install due to following reason. I am using windows xp os SP2 currently.

Error message: Download cannot continue because either there's a problem with your internet or mcafee downloaded server not available.

After I runned MCPR.exe  but it says the below error message.

Incomplete installation  - enterprise software detected see log file for more details

I can see existing mcaffee file in below path in my system.  C:\Program Files\Mcafee\

 and version is 3.6.0.453

Hence request you to advice what I need to do to uninstall the exist mcafee anti virus version.

The MCPR tool is ineffective with Enterprise and is meant only for the home/consumer product versions.
